Pioneer Bank and Office Building

The Pioneer Bank office building is near the corner of 38th Street and Guadalupe Street in Austin. The new building supports Pioneer’s rapidly growing Austin customer base and acts as a central location for the bank’s business and community development efforts. The three-story 36,000 SF building provides much-needed expansion space for the rapidly growing bank. In addition to Pioneer’s banking team, the building will be home to some operational and administrative positions. There is also a four-story parking garage, approximately 64,891 SF total adjacent to the building.

Encotech provided Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineering services for the shell, core design, and parking garage of this office project. The project scope included all water/wastewater piping for the building as well as HVAC design for each floor of the office building.

The Electrical designs included all the lighting and power supply to the office, and the circuits, controls systems. We also provided photometric calculations and designed the parking garage lighting and all associated wiring and distribution panels.

Encotech also developed an energy model to demonstrate that the total performance of the design building envelope, lighting, and mechanical systems meets or exceeds the energy performance requirements of ASHRAE 90.1.

Through a separate task order, Encotech provided MEP engineering design for the renovation of approximately 8,900 SF of the second floor of the building for Executive Offices. The renovation included offices, cubicles/workstations, conference rooms, server room, break room, and coffee bars to accommodate about 62 people.
